Douglas Levesque (U.S. Taxpayers)
Education- Parental involvement should be a part of the administrative mantra and structure.
Even parental choices from local public offerings should be at their own expense: music, arts, athletics, busing, meals, AP classes, and disciplinary considerations. The taxpayer is not responsible for the extras.
The best structure to promote parental involvement is a local one, not a state centered one. The State does not have power over parents and children in the realm of education.
Rules that enforce sexual purity ought to be applied to schools. Dress codes, physical contact policies, and parental information access are a good start.
Evolution is a theory. It is a highly questionable theory with spurious scientific data backing it. Alternative theories including creationism, along with its scientific data should be taught or be present in Michigan public schools.
